The year 2001 started out like most years.  Sherri kept very busy with Tax Season watching everyone's money walk to the IRS and we all looked forward to springtime.  In all, we had a great time this year, kept very busy, a little closer to home and enjoyed the kids very much.

During the first half of the year, Hayden was in school (1st grade) and learning amazing things for his age.  Schools seem to be teaching subjects MUCH earlier than when I was in school.  Sherri helped out in his class once a week when she wasn't working and really enjoyed being a part of his class.  I think Hayden liked it just as much.
Sherri spends much of her time keeping the house going, doing all of the things that R.B. can't do, doesn't want to do or sometimes wishes he could do.  Her days consist of running tons of errands, classroom helper, the usual 2 tons of laundry per week and keeping the house spotless.  She also works at least once a week during the off-season, walks about 3.5 miles with friends several times per week and is the primary 'homework' helper.

(Though I (R.B.) don't thank her enough for all she does while I work I'll do it very publicly at this time.  I am extremely thankful for all she does, handling numerous items that just wouldn't get done without her attention.  I can't say enough about how this reduces my stress level greatly!  And, perhaps this is why I've had so much time to get back into several things that you'll see on the next page.)

(Every man should be so lucky!)

Hayden and R.B. dashed out to Colorado for a February ski trip with Dave Howard from Hutchinson and his son Andrew.   We had an excellent time, the snow was great and Hayden has really become a good skier.  I came home VERY sore from skiing so hard when the boys were in Ski School, Dave kept me moving!
In early summer Sherri dashed off to Connecticut to visit her friend Michelle and they once again toured scenic parts of the northeast.  Block Island was a big hit with Sherri but all I got was a lousy T-shirt.
