Vacations, back to back...

Horn Creek Camp Colorado

This year we took a week off in July and went to a church camp in Colorado called Horn Creek.  Horn Creek is about an hour west of Pueblo in central Colorado, right up against a mountain range and the camp is at about 9,000 ft above sea level.  The boys absolutely had a great time with all of the various activities at the camp.  Horseback riding, bowling, hiking, fishing, frisbee golf, a water slide (Brrr..we're not showing those pictures!) were a few of the activities on-site and we also took a day trip to see the Royal Gorge.  Lots of activities, a bit of religion and a really great time!

Hayden and Zachary loved riding the horses and consider them to be one of the highlights of the trip.  The staff all over the camp was great.  We attended the camp with Sherri's parents and sister's family (Lori and Donnie Kingsley).
Frisbee golf was also a surprisingly big hit.  Donnie and R.B. managed to send several into the tops of trees (nothing a bit of acrobatics didn't solve) while Hayden and Jenson just worked on their form.
