| It's nearing Christmas and Dad's home destroying the basement. As you can imagine mom's very pleased. Since Dad's not writing the Christmas card I guess I'll have to take time out of my very busy and important day and make sure this Christmas card is out before Christmas. (unlike our missing card last year!!!) It has been a very busy year. Instead of making this card very boring and talking about all the busy things we did all year let's talk about our vacations. Oh, and don't worry I'll talk about me later. Vacation's, oh, yeah, we went all over the country this year. We went skiing in Colorado in February to Solvista and everybody in my family ate my POWDER! Zach skies well but not fast or at least not fast enough to keep with me. Over memorial day weekend we went to San Antonio. We visited friends we had there and went to Six Flags for two days. We were going to go to Sea World but unfortanetly everybody else in San Antonio wanted to go there also. We had a great time. In July we went to Mackinac Island and had bike races around the island. Again, everybody ate my DUST! On the way to Mackinac we stopped in Sault Ste. Marie and went on a train ride through Canada. After that we chilled on Mackinac for about 4 days. About 2 months later were packin' again and this time were going to Disney World. When we went to Disney World we went to all the parks because my mom bought park hopper passes. All of the parks were cool. We spent the most time at Epcot because we ate at the pavilions every night. Since I'm talking about the parks I guess I'll tell you our favorite rides. First of all, at Magic Kingdom our favorite ride was Space Mountain, the left side. The Left side is better than the right... just a little hint if you ever go there. At Animal Kingdom our favorite ride was Expedition Everest because you go through a little way and it turns you around and you go plummeting through the mountain in the DARK, backwards! If you sit in the very front you get to see the track flip when it stops you to turn you around. At MGM our favorite ride was probably the Rockin' Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith. You go zero to sixty-something in about 3 seconds. You go flying through the dark as you're doing loops, corkscrews, and hard turns you're done with the ride in about 30 seconds. At Epcot our favorite ride was Test Track. You go through a series of tests and best of all a speed test. That wraps up our Disney Vacation. After another two months and were going on a vacation again. I knew we were going somewhere but mom wouldn't tell me where. She finally did as we got on the highway. Turns out we were going skiing again. This time we went to Loveland. We skied for about three days and again... everybody ate my POWDER! Again! Now to the Family's part of the card. Zach is surprisingly smart. (It's amazing I thought I was the last smart one. Well I can see where he gets it. Me!) Zach is doing well in school. He is still playing tennis. Zach is doing very good in math but not so hot in reading... I mean he's a good reader but hates reading on his own. He has all A's. He still continues to take piano lessons. He enjoys rock climbing at the y and playing with his friends. Dad is currently destroying the basement and he is trying to fix every stupid little thing in our entire stinking house. Mom, very happy with dad's decision to destroy our basement, is doing good. She still works for her parents in Newton. Back to me. I am in seventh grade. I ran Cross Country this fall and was slower than I thought I would be even though I was the fourth fastest in the seventh grade boys we had about ten 7th grade boys. I guess I'll have to try harder next year to be number 1. I have all A's (Not Surprising). My electives ( Extra classes I get to chose) are broadcasting and Physical Education. This spring I will be on the tennis team waiting to kick some butt. Katie (our dog) is still alive she loves to run and walk with me, my mom, or dad. She stays in a kennel when we pack up our stuff and go on a vacation. We talked my mom into goat herding at this kennel place. Our sweet loving dog tried to kill or seriously injure the poor innocent goats. At least she has fun while were away.(Hopefully we don't get charged medical bills for any damaged goats). As I said before I am very busy and must get back to ruling my empire back in the 1700s. I hope this letter has been more fun to read than my dad's usual boring letter. My family wishes you a Happy Christmas and Merry New Year. Hayden P.S. I have my attached many pictures of my self and very few of the family.
This list are just ideas that are not at all inclusive but you get the drift. |
