Whew!  What a year!

Our routine became a bit more hectic this year as Hayden moved from Kindergarten to 1st grade and began playing a few sports.  Working in our usual vacations and 'day trips' was a bit more difficult but as you will see we managed to see quite a bit in spite of our 'regularly scheduled activities'.  At least this year we didn't have a major job change or anything that major to shake up the works.

Hayden and Zack take turns with 'Big Jake'.

This year we adopted a new policy of allowing the children to play in the street as much as possible hoping to teach them a bit about physics, Newton's Laws and momentum.

As Zachary neared the summer he took much more of an interest in biking and swimming joining his brother in those activities almost move for move.  Being 4 years older Hayden can ride quite a bit faster but as the year progressed we (Sherri and R.B.) found ourselves needing to walk faster and faster until our 'nightly walk' became almost a jog and the kids found themselves riding and waiting, riding and waiting.

At 3 years old Zach is still not able to keep up with the parents but we will probably all be riding next year with Zach getting even stronger.

Bubbles were always a "BIG" hit with the boys and their friends.
